Use Split View
Show two channels side by side for cross-reference.
Use this when
You want to watch multiple channels at the same time. All Channels view stacks available channels in separate panes so you can cross-reference returns across different sonar frequencies without switching back and forth.
Before you start
A recording must be open. All Channels view shows whichever channels are present in the file. You do not need to select them manually.
Switch to All Channels view
- Click the All Channels button in the view mode group at the top of the viewer (the rightmost icon in the four-button toggle).
- The viewer splits into panes, one per available channel.
What you should see
Each available channel occupies its own pane. The panes are arranged vertically. All panes scroll together; the playhead and scrubber stay synchronized across every channel. Labels on each pane identify the channel, for example SI Port or Down 200.
If it does not work
- Only one pane appears — the loaded file contains only one channel. Use Single view instead.
- A pane appears blank — that channel exists in the file but has no data at the current playhead position. Move the scrubber to a section of the recording that has returns for that channel.
- Panes are very narrow — the sidebar is open and reducing available width. Collapse the sidebar using the arrow button on its right edge to give the viewer more space.
